Nissan to Reveal All-New 2025 Patrol on September 4th

Nissan has confirmed that the new Patrol will be unveiled on September 4th . The upcoming model, likely to be designated Y63, will succeed the current Y62.

Design Overview

The new Patrol’s design, derived from spy shots and rendered images, merges its rugged heritage with a more contemporary look.

The SUV boasts a split headlight configuration, a prominent grille with the Nissan emblem, and a blend of Infiniti-inspired style with the toughness characteristic of the Patrol.

Design highlights include side steps, an air vent, roof rails, and privacy-tinted windows. The rear is anticipated to feature a continuous LED light bar with the Nissan logo and exhaust pipes positioned at the bottom.

This refreshed design suggests a premium feel, potentially increasing the price by 10-20% over the current model.

Engine Specifications

The new Patrol will forgo the previous V8 engine in favor of a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged petrol V6.

The new engine is expected to deliver 336 kW of power and nearly 700 Nm of torque, representing a significant upgrade from the existing 5.6-liter V8. It will also surpass the power of the Land Cruiser’s diesel V6 by approximately 109 kW.

This change addresses recent issues faced by Toyota with their turbocharged V6 engines.
