ob Title: General Accountant Location: Dubai Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Audit and Accounting Firm Salary : AED 4500 to AED 6000 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare financial reports and statements in compliance with accounting standards Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings Support internal and external audits Analyze financial data and provide insights to management Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least 2-3 years of experience in general accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo) and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities CPA license is a plus, but not required Please note: Only candidates currently in the UAE will be accepted.
