Job Type: Full-time Start Date: Immediate Reporting to: Head of Trade Finance / Finance Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Officer with in-depth knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs) and UCP 600 regulations to join our team on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting day-to-day operations related to import/export documentation. Key Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end Letters of Credit (LC) issuance, amendments, and document scrutiny. Ensure all trade finance transactions comply with UCP 600, ISBP, and other relevant international guidelines. Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal teams for timely processing of trade documents. Review and verify shipping and commercial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor and track LC status, shipment schedules, and payment timelines. Liaise with legal, compliance, and operations teams for risk mitigation and due diligence. Prepare and maintain accurate trade finance reports and records. Provide support during audits and ensure documentation is up to standard. Requirements: Proven experience in Trade Finance operations (minimum 3–5 years preferred). Strong expertise in Letters of Credit and UCP 600 rules. Familiarity with international trade documentation and Incoterms. Excellent communication and coordination skills. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Business, or related field. Immediate availability is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications: CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) is an advantage. Experience working in banking, import/export firms, or multinational trade environments.
