Accountant

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued success. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Conduct monthly and annual audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with UAE laws.
Provide support during financial audits and collaborate with external auditors.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of UAE tax regulations is a plus.
