1- Senior Mechanical Engineer (Juba Office) & Position-02: - Senior Mechanical Engineer (GPOC Site, Unity State)
Location: Juba, South Sudan
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the execution of mechanical engineering projects from start to finish.
• Design and implement mechanical systems for various projects.
• Develop and review technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Ensure all mechanical systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project managers to integrate mechanical systems with other project elements.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to design.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project progress and technical issues.
• Review and approve mechanical design changes and modifications.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select appropriate materials and equipment.
• Oversee installation and testing of mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules.
• Ensure project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for mechanical processes and systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
• Address and resolve any mechanical engineering-related issues or conflicts.
• Coordinate with safety officers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of work experience in mechanical engineering.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
2. Position: - Senior Mechanical Engineer (GPOC Site, Unity State)
Location: (GPOC Site, Unity State, South Sudan)
Responsibilities:
• Manage mechanical engineering operations on-site, ensuring project specifications are met.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Perform regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all mechanical work is executed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Develop and review site-specific mechanical design modifications.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems on-site.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively for mechanical tasks.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports and technical drawings.
• Conduct training sessions for on-site staff on mechanical systems and safety practices.
• Address and troubleshoot mechanical failures and system malfunctions.
• Review and approve changes to mechanical plans and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Monitor and report on the performance of mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for on-site equipment.
• Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications:
