Job Description
• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings for customized decorative metal works.
• Develop fabrication, shop, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Prepare detailed drawings for staircases, railings, canopies, screens, cladding, gates, and other architectural metalwork.
• Conduct site measurements and convert approved designs into fabrication-ready drawings.
• Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and bills of quantities.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, production teams, and site installation teams.
• Revise drawings according to site conditions, technical requirements, and client comments.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and fabrication standards.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Skills and Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in steel fabrication or customized decorative metalwork.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, SketchUp, or similar 3D software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, sheet-metal fabrication, welding, bending, cutting and installation methods.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Candidates available in the UAE for a face-to-face interview and practical test will be given preference.
