Job Description: Merchandiser
Location: Dubai – United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supermarket Merchandiser to optimize product visibility and drive sales. You will maintain inventory levels, arrange attractive displays, and support promotional campaigns.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Replenish products on shelves, chillers, and promotional areas.
• Follow planograms strictly to meet brand display standards.
• Pull backroom inventory to the sales floor efficiently.
• Maintain neat shelves by tidying and organizing items continuously.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) rules.
• Remove expired items or damaged goods from display immediately.
• Track stock levels to prevent out-of-stock or overstock issues.
• Conduct inventory audits and report shortages to supervisors.
• Set up displays at end-caps and secondary promotional zones.
• Update price tags to ensure accurate customer checkout.
• Install promotional signs and banners for active marketing campaigns.
• Monitor competitor pricing and display strategies in the store
Job Requirements & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous retail experience in supermarkets or FMCG preferred.
• Physical Demands: Lift heavy boxes and stand for extended store hours.
• Bend and reach safely to organize low or high shelves.
• Core Competencies: Read planograms and visual schematics accurately.
• Strong time management to complete store route plans daily.
