Position: Accounting / Finance

Dear Hiring Manager, I am applying for the Accountant position with your company, bringing over a year of experience in accounts payable and receivable, as well as expertise in bank reconciliation and month-end closing. Currently pursuing an MBA in International Finance and holding ACCA certification, I possess a strong foundation in financial operations relevant to the role. In my previous position as a Junior Executive in Accounts & Operations at Shriram Finance Ltd, I managed accounts payable for seven major vendors, ensuring approvals and bill clearing within 48 hours. I also processed customer payments efficiently, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and closing accounts daily, which significantly contributed to effective cash flow management. My experience with SAP Financial Accounting and my knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations align well with the requirements outlined in the job description. During my tenure, I ensured precise documentation of financial records, which supported accurate reporting and auditing processes. These efforts were complemented by my work at Rubixe, where I developed analytical dashboards using Power BI to facilitate informed business evaluations. This experience enhanced my ability to analyze financial data and contribute to operational efficiency. I am drawn to your company because of its commitment to maintaining high standards in financial operations, and I believe my background aligns well with your team’s goals. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my skills and experiences can contribute to your organization. Sincerely, Jayakrishnan Vj
