Position: Marine Captain / Crew

Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to apply for the Yacht/Boat Captain position. I bring around 10 years of hands-on experience in yacht and boat operations in the UAE and international waters, with strong expertise in safe vessel handling, navigation, crew coordination, and guest service. My key responsibilities and strengths include: • Commanding and safely operating luxury yachts, catamarans, speed boats, fishing boats, diving boats, and passenger vessels. • Planning and executing coastal and offshore voyages, including navigation, route planning, weather assessment, and passage preparation. • Ensuring the safety of guests, crew, and vessel at all times while maintaining compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures. • Conducting pre-departure checks and overseeing engines, navigation equipment, safety equipment, and general vessel readiness. • Managing docking, undocking, anchoring, maneuvering, and operations in challenging sea and weather conditions. • Leading and coordinating crew members, allocating daily duties, and maintaining professional onboard standards. • Providing a high level of service to VIP and private guests while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience onboard. • Managing routine maintenance, identifying technical issues, coordinating repairs, and maintaining vessel cleanliness and presentation. • Maintaining accurate vessel logs, safety records, checklists, and operational documentation. • Responding calmly and effectively to emergencies, including breakdowns, medical situations, adverse weather, and other onboard incidents. I hold an International 24-Meter Captain’s Certificate (UK) with DMCA approval, along with STCW and VHF Radio Operator certification. My combination of practical command experience, safety awareness, technical knowledge, and guest-service skills allows me to take full responsibility for professional and reliable vessel operations.
