Global Village Dubai was built in 1997 as a cultural and entertainment destination where 78 cultures from all around the world are presented in 26 pavilions. Located on Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Dubailand, the Global Village provides an immersive experience of learning about various cultures, traditions, cuisines, music, art and clothing.

Global Village Dubai timing

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Thursday to Saturday: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • Tuesdays exclusively reserved for women and families, except for official public holidays

Note that during Ramadan the timing of Global Village Dubai changes to 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

 

Tickets Options

All visitors are free to choose from various ticket options provided in Global Village Dubai. Here is the list.

  • Entry Tickets: A normal ticket to enter the park. Prices start at AED 22.5.
  • VIP Packages: These tickets offer features such as VIP parking, concierge, priority queue lines, table reservations, Wonder Pass with points, complimentary tickets, exclusive offers, and other VIP privileges. Pricing ranges from AED 1750 for silver VIP tickets, AED 2250 for gold, AED 2700 for Platinum, and AED 7000 for Diamond.
  • Wonder Pass: Wonder Pass holders can enter chosen attractions at the Global Village. Paying AED100, the holders get 105 ‘points’, each equal to AED1 and could be used to pay depending on its entrance fee. The card is rechargeable and holders can use it at all ticket counters or via app. Rides and attractions are priced at 12-70 points for one ride. Wonder Pass provides access to Caribbean Ship (25 points), Festival Wheel (30 Points), Mumbai Xpress (18 points), Cuban Dance (12 points), Fly France (32 points), Global Burj (40 points), Athens Slingshot (70 points).

Note that tickets are usually rescheduled for dates and most tickets are non-refundable. Visitors to Global Village Dubai can download the Global Village app to buy tickets, pay for parking as well as check all the upcoming events.

 

How to get to Global Village Dubai

Global Village Dubai is located between two major highways in Dubai, Emirates Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, which makes it really easy to access by car, taxi or public transportation.

Visitors can easily drive to Global Village Dubai if they take Exit 37 on Emirates Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The parking space is huge and has 20,000 spots for various types of vehicles. The parking area is free, though it is far from the entrances. Visitors need to take free shuttle buses and Dotto trains to go to the main gates. There are also various valet parking available, ranging from AED 50 to 200.

There are also several bus options that make it convenient to reach Global Village Dubai. Here are four easily accessible bus routes to Global Village:

  • Bus 102: Connects from Rashidiya Metro Station. The bus leaves every 60 minutes.
  • Bus 103: Moving from Union Metro Station, it takes the route through Al Rebat Street. The bus leaves every 40 minutes.
  • Bus 104: The bus departs from Ghubaiba Bus Station near Al Jafiliya Metro Station. The bus departs every 60 minutes.
  • Bus 106: It runs from the Mall of Emirates Metro Station, taking a path through Al Barsha to Al Quoz and Clinical Pathology Services 2. The bus leaves every hour.

RTA bus service is in charge of bus trips to Global Village Dubai. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to reach Global Village Dubai by bus and the ride costs AED 10 for a single trip.

There are also two Abra tours to improve the excitement of visiting Global Village Dubai. The cruise by Abra to the Global Village takes 15 to 20 minutes and costs AED 52 per trip. The service is available from 4:00 PM to midnight 7 days a week.
