Job description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Manager to oversee the overall business operations of The Cafe. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a proven track record in the F&B industry, capable of driving profitability, operational excellence, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets
Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams
Conduct market research and competitive analysis
Create and execute expansion plans and growth initiatives
Financial Management:

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Monitor P&L statements and ensure financial targets are met
Control costs and optimize operational expenses
Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions as needed
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
Operations Management:

Ensure smooth daily operations across all departments
Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Manage inventory control and supply chain operations
Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff
Foster a positive and productive work environment
Conduct performance evaluations and training programs
Handle recruitment, staffing, and scheduling
Customer Relations:

Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
Address customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Marketing & Brand Development:

Collaborate with marketing team on promotional campaigns
Monitor brand positioning and market presence
Oversee social media strategy and online reputation management
Requirements
Essential:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
Minimum 5-7 years of management experience in F&B or hospitality industry
Proven track record of achieving business objectives and driving profitability
Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in MS Office and restaurant management software
Knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE labor laws
Valid UAE driving license
Fluency in English (Arabic is highly advantageous)
Desirable:

Experience with multi-outlet operations
Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software
Established network within Dubai's F&B industry
Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms
