Site Fabricator – Steel & Metal Fabrication

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Site Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in steel and metal fabrication, site installation, and handling fabrication tools and equipment. The candidate must be able to work on-site, follow technical drawings, and complete fabrication and installation work according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out steel and metal fabrication work at project sites.
Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and install steel and metal components.
Read and follow fabrication and installation drawings.
Perform site measurements and ensure accurate fabrication and fitting.
Assist with installation, alignment, and finishing of fabricated structures.
Coordinate with site engineers, welders, and supervisors.
Ensure proper use of tools and equipment and follow safety procedures.
Maintain quality standards and complete assigned work within project deadlines.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in steel or metal fabrication.
Hands-on experience in site fabrication and installation.
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling steel structures.
Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment.
Physically fit and willing to work at different project sites.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
