I’m a Senior Software Engineer and Module Lead with 9+ years of experience building backend and full-stack systems that stay fast, secure, and available at scale. Lately, I’ve been leading the move from legacy Software AG webMethods integrations to containerized Node.js/NestJS microservices on AWS ECS. These are event-driven services built on REST, WebSockets, queues, and Redis, serving 10K+ users at 99.9% uptime. I also set up the CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security standards around them. Earlier in my career, I led teams on enterprise SaaS platforms for PETRONAS in Malaysia and on digital identity and eKYC products in London, including OCR and AI face matching that cut onboarding time by 50%. Working remotely with international teams has made me strong at clear communication and at turning business requirements into solid technical designs. I enjoy mentoring engineers, raising code quality through reviews and documentation, and using AI tools like Claude Code to move faster without cutting corners.
