Position: Accounting / Finance

Currently, I am in FP&A team, working as a Finance Analyst supporting Canon Finance Australia, where I am responsible for a wide range of general accounting and financial reporting activities. My role involves preparing and posting journal entries, performing account and balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month-end and quarter-end closing, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Dynamics 365. I also analyze financial statements, investigate variances, and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies. In addition, I support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing historical financial data and analysis, enabling management to make informed business decisions. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, commercial, and accounts payable, to resolve financial inquiries and improve reporting accuracy. I also utilize Microsoft Excel and Power BI to analyze financial trends, prepare reports, and provide meaningful insights that contribute to business performance. This experience has strengthened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills while allowing me to work in a fast-paced, multinational finance environment. It has also enhanced my ability to support financial planning, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
