Dear Hiring Manager/Employer: I am writing to express my interest in the English teaching. With nearly seven years of diverse teaching experience and a profound passion for education, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to your institution. In 2018, I earned my bachelor’s degree through online studies. The following year, I embarked on my international teaching career in China, where I taught English across various educational levels—from kindergartens to training schools, primary schools, middle schools, high schools and universities/adults. This experience honed my skills in teaching students ranging from two years old to adults. I specialize in Conversational English, Total Physical Response (TPR), and English as a Second Language (ESL), though I am adept at teaching all facets of the English language. My training in TPR and ESL methodologies has been instrumental in creating engaging and effective learning environments. As a South African native with an accent closely aligned to British English, I have consistently followed and taught the British curriculum. I firmly believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I strive to make my classes both educational and fun. My preference is to teach K1 or K2 students, where I can foster a love for the English language from an early age. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a 30-year-old individual who values a balanced lifestyle. I enjoy walking on the beach, going to the gym, reading books, traveling, playing the guitar, watching sunsets, and spending quality time with my family and our dog. These activities enrich my life and keep me energised, which I bring into my teaching practice. My family and I are eager to relocate to the United Arab Emirates or another Gulf country in 2025. My husband, a professional carpenter and site foreman in the cabinet-making industry, is enthusiastic about continuing his career abroad. Our one male son is also part of our relocation plans. We are committed to building a successful personal and professional life overseas and are prepared to make this transition promptly. I am ready to commence my teaching journey abroad at the earliest opportunity.
